Keep that mower blade sharp when working on your lawn!
November 15th, 2008 . by chrisSharper mower blades are commonly overlooked on most household mowers – from gas to electric, to even reel mowers. More often than not, it seems as if people are just letting the blade go unsharpened for years over time. When you think about it, this is really funny, because the sharper the blade, the easier the lawn is to mow. Making the lawn easier to mow means…well, more time to work in the garden after you are done. Or, it could also mean a quicker time to a nice cold beverage. It’s a toss up depending on the individual.
Anyway, you work hard enough. Look into a Blade Sharpener to sharpen that lawnmower blade. It comes with a safety guard to make sure you won’t slice any part of your fingers off. Cutting is your enemy. Still, it’s probably a good idea to remove the blade from the mower first and follow safety guidelines anyway.
